Social Media Policy & Usage
We do not operate our platform on any social media site nor do we have any presence on any social media site.
How We Use Your Information
We collect information about a dancing school and that information is provided by the authorised teacher. It is limited to names, email addresses and country of operation. None of this detail is ever passed to any third party except where it is used in payment processing for pre-populating some fields of the payment processors system.
The teacher of each school provides limited information about dancers attached to their school. That information consists solely of the dancer’s name, date of birth and teaching location. Individuals cannot be identified by the information supplied. Parents of students who do not wish for their childs’ name and date of birth to be stored on our server, must ask their teacher to remove the details.
When this website is used by an organising committee to accept entries into a dance campetition, names of students are collated into competitions by the individual teachers who log in and compile their school's entry.
Once the entry to a competition is closed, the data collected (names, dates of birth and school names) are downloaded and passed to the organising committee for further processing and ultimate publication in one or more media. Once the data has been downloaded from this website, it becomes the responsibility of the organising committee.
Online payment
We do not operate any online payment system directly but we connect into accounts and systems owned by the provider of an individual event. Currently, we connect to SagePay, eWay (Australia) and Stripe.com but the organisers of the events to which we provide the service operate accounts with those payment processors. Any query about the processing of card data by the payment processor should be directed to the organiser of the relevant event.
